AGE: 18

combat statistics,
Nero is also fairly acrobatic while fighting, using flips and the like to catch the enemy off guard as a simple dodge may be unseen, but flipping away tends to leave a lasting effect on less experienced opponents who might be left in some degree of awe, as it implies he isn't taking the fight too seriously when normally he doesn't mess around while fighting.
NIGHTMARE FRAME: staff will add this later
STRENGTHS: Intelligence, Speed, agility, dexterity, Experience and Piloting Skill and being ambidextrous about sums up Nero's strengths. He possesses a genius level intellect with great ability as a tactician due to this intelligence and his experience on the battlefield in many different evnvironments.
He is also very fast, agile and dextrous due to the sheer amount of training he went through when he was younger to try and be the best he could for the people of Britannia. This obviously aids him in piloting as he can react and control his knightmare quicker than most, especially combined with his experience and skill inside a knightmare due to the battles he has taken part in as well in proper human vs human fighting.
He also has a lot of experience due to his time fighting and commanding in the ill-fated invasion of France, which also gave him his skill with a knightmare as well as his training beforehand. In summary, he is a great threat to armies who oppose him due to his personal skill with a knightmare and his tactics.
WEAKNESSES: Nero has numerous weaknesses. In summary they are his strength, his endurance, an illness that has been plaguing his body since he attained his geass and finally, a huge degree of hatred towards the Euro Universe, which effects him greatly on the battlefield. His strength is well below average, able to be overpowered by most opponents, which is why he normally relies on his speed. His endurance is also low, so he can't take many hits before he goes down, this is caused partially due to his illness.
Nero suffers from a mysterious illness no doctor has been able to cure as of yet. The symptoms are that the body is weaker physically (see endurance weakness), he coughs up blood frequently and is more sensitive to changes in temperature, while also having a crippling allergic reaction to gold, as in the element not the colour.
GEASS: Nero is in fact in possession of a geass. A fairly potent one. It deals with erasing memories for the moment, at skin contact when he wills it. Or, not skin contact per say. His skin has to contact something like their clothes and then he erases their memories, to the extent he wishes, that can be anywhere between the last minute and their whole life. His geass activates from his right eye.
When his geass evolves into it's permenant two eyed state, it grants him more abilities. A greater level of his old geass essentially. It allows him to not only erase memories on touch, but also implant memories into and absorb memories from his targets. Also, since the geass is permenant, the effect is too obviously, however, this effects Nero strangely, as it only permenantly effects his hands, with the right being for erasing memories and the left being for absorbtion or implanting. The rest of his body is still effected as before, with erasing memory, on touch, when he wants it to.
CONTRACTOR: an NPC for now I guess as I don't see any approved contractors >.<;;

personal accounts,
His demeanor towards the public, when he is Nero Di Britannia essentially, is very kind, yet stoic. He is almost silent under this persona, being seen as a loner, at least in the public eye. Many also see him as a good prince due to the fact he makes a show sometimes while fighting in a knightmare, to show that he isn't some prince who can only strategise and can't fight. He is seen as courageous and honourable, but not to the point where he will not get things done, which is why many of the Britannians in Area 11 look up to or admire him.
When at school his personality is very different, he actually is suprisingly normal. At least compared to what people expect. He likes to just hang around as normally as he can while at school, not really all that interested in his studies due to the fact he knows most of the stuff and doesn't even need to try on tests. Really, all he looks for at school is some way to be fit in and have friends as he's been really isolated throughout his childhood and fitting in isn't exaclty a worry inside the royal family, it's normally more along the lines of worrying about staying alive.
Nero generally, whether at school or acting as his official position within the royal family has some traits that remain constant, such as seemingly distant emotionally and always seemingly being on guard. He is closest to his knight, Tristan Corbett, seeing him as almost like a brother and willing to trust his life to him without a second thought. When he tells Tristan to get something done, he knows it will be done, he is that confident in his knight.
This is after Septimus Li Britannia died anyway, as he was the only person he was related to who he really classed as family other than Lucian, and was probably one of the people Nero was closest to. He detests his mother, even going so far as to openly refer to her as a whore or a harlot who seeks favour with his father, and has his own opinions about his father, mainly that he is an overly ambitious megalomaniac.
Nero has a great amount of contempt towards the Knights of the Rounds, seeing them as overconfident dogs of the emperor placed upon a pedastal. A pedastal that servers to alienate them by thoughts of being superior. Essentially, he sees them the same as nobles, but worse, as they generally become arrogant and complacent with their skill instead of struggling on as far as he cares.
Nero is fairly naive, feeling he should do his best for the Britannian people, and in his heart, hates the news of a rebellion, but not due to the fact there was one, but because of the outcome always leading to alot of death. He feels people should get by on their own merits, and supports the Britannian ideal of Social Darwinism, but wants to take it a degree further, removing the Areas and everything similar. What he would aim to do would be have everyone accept they are Britannians, and then make it clear that the best man will be the one who prevails, regardless of ethnicity. Essentially, he wants equality, where the strong and skilled prevail and the weak are left to perish.
He has no real problem with the rebels in Area 11, seeing their motives and cause as understandable, and in most senses just. More just than the Britannian claim to Japan anyway. However, he sees their struggle as futile, as all they are doing is bringing down the hammer of the Britannian military upon Area 11. As far as he sees it anyway. However, he isn't arrogant enough to believe they do not stand a chance, as he is a firm believer in there always being a chance for victory despite the odds, and knows well that this applies to his enemies as well. He wishes to wipe out the Japanese forces using his strategies and knightmare so he can minimise casualties and avoid the Britannian main forces coming.
Nero feels a great deal of guilt when he kills someone, but only when he can put a face to the person dying. One of the reasons why he feels he isn't fit to be a Britannian royal, as he feels guilt when he betrays someone or kills someone if he doesn't believe it's for a greater good.
Nero has many quirks to his personality when he's being himself, such as sometimes writing poetry and other things, and repeating famous lines he liked from plays and the like.
ITEMS: A ruby pendant that he wears around his neck at almost all times. It is the last memento he has of who he classes as his father, which would be his bodyguard when he was younger, before he was deemed worthy of choosing his own knight, who cared for him after he gained geass instead of either of his parents, one being the Emperor and one being, as he sees it, a harlot constantly craving to be the Emperor's favourite. The pendant symolises the bond with his deceased bodyguard, and also the fact the man sacrificed himself to save Nero after retiring from service.
He also carries light alloy pistol with a scope which also belonged to his previous bodyguard. It was left to him in his will, saying that it'd help the bodyguard always protect him.
Nero also has a necklace made of silver . Appearance is here. This necklace was given to him by the one Britannian royal family member he considered like a brother other than his twin. That would be Septimus Li Britannia. He harbours a deep hatred towards the EU due to them killing him, and this not only reminds Nero of that bond and give him the feeling Septimus is watching over him, but reminds him of that grudge.
He also carries a phone made by a branch company of the Ashford Foundation, named Mirage. It was custom built for Nero at his request, as he has met some influential people within the Ashford Foundation and they didn't really see a problem with it as long as Nero verified it was made by Mirage if he was asked. The phone itself is high end, having numerous features which vary from the basics like texting, normal phone calls etc to things which are more akin to features on a PDA, like having the ability to access GPS systems through it, see maps of areas and plan on them for later and finally it can also remotely call his knightmare, the Nero Angelo
FAMILY: The entire Britannian royal family?
HISTORY: Sorry for any problems here. It's just a direct copy and paste.
Nero grew up within Pendragon, within the royal palace, as all Britannian royalty do. He grew up isolated and alone for the most part, only really having nobles, his brother Lucius, his half brother Septimus and his friend Tristan to interact with. The rest of the time he was either training so as to be good enough to get some attention from his parents or studying for the same reason. This resulted in him gaining a fairly cynical attitude as he grew up, seeing his family as nothing more than a group of people who didn't care about him apart from the odd few.
When he was 7, her was assigned a bodyguard by the name of Raphael Azreal, who seemed to geniunely care for Nero as more tha just his client, but as a young boy who clearly needed help. He became Nero's father figure essentially, being the one who scolded and praised him, the one Nero wanted to be like and who he respected all in one. However, Raphael was just a bodyguard, so eventually, after 3 years of dutiful service when Nero had apparently learned all he needed to about self defence from the man, he was let go by Nero's mother. Nero essentially had a small breakdown after this event, becoming even more isolated, and to an extent suicidal, as he felt life wasn't worth living since he felt like a puppet his father was making dance for him due to how every element in his life seemed to be controlled by that fool.
He ran away from the palace shortly after this, and some panic ensued due to this. Eventually, some nobles caught wind of it and found Nero and took him captive. However, much to his suprise, Raphael came to save him and held off the nobles trying to keep Nero as a hostage while Nero ran. When the guards found Nero, he told them what happened and they rushed to the scene, Nero shortly behind them, only to find a corpse lying there. It was Raphael, with a bullet hole through his head. This event was quite traumatic for Nero, as the one adult he felt cared for him was now dead and he died because of Nero essentially. It still haunts him till this day.
After this, Nero began to train in simulators for knightmare piloting, and training his martial arts generally, wanting to gain the power to not let those close to him die. This led to him being called a prodigy due to the skill he gained so quickly, but really, he had just worked alot harder than anyone else knew, other than Tristan, as Nero asked him to help him train. He also studied a lot harder so as to try and minimise casualties when he eventually had to command an army, and for this, he had his half-brother Septimus Li Britannia tutor him on contemporary war tactics as he learned them from his tutors and from numerous anecdotes from generals that Septimus had talked to.
Due to all of this, Nero began to change and become who he is today. The Black Phantom Prince. He continued to study for the next few years, being enrolled in a military academy, and being forced to sit through numerous tutor lessons telling him what he already knew. He began to become a problematic teenager, as by about the age of 14, he was done with sitting through them and began stunning his teachers with knowledge proving he knew it all already and then leaving and other such stunts. However, these displays of knowledge and his skills in knightmare practice exercises did get him acknowledged, allowing him to graduate the military academy at the age of 15.
The next year he was presented with the final product of a knightmare he had asked to be made for him, the Nero Angelo, and grew used to it's innovative systems in an absurdly quick amount of time for a reason none of the scientists who had worked on it could explain. However, this was a good turn for Nero, as it allowed him to enter the assault on France led by his half brother Septimus. He was allowed to go with the army, and was actively given roles as a commander throughout the invasion, gaining his nickname here for the fact he seemed to be a master of ambushes and decoy tactics. However, during one skirmish with remnants near Bordeaux, he was ambushed by a large units of knightmares, and as it was just a skirmish, he was piloting a Gloucester rather than his Nero Angelo.
His knightmare was destroyed, and he was saved by the ejection system, however, it malfunctioned and he landed in the middle of a small village, bleeding heavily. His right atm broken, and a shards of glass from the computer screens inside the cockpit stabbing into his chest in numerous places. He was unconcious by this point, only remembering seeing a silhouette of a man.
When he awoke, he was covered in bandages and his right arm in a splint. H eimmediately grasped for his gun and pointed it at the man as he walked in. Only to then have the situation explained to him, that 10 soldiers with knightmares had arrived and were looking for him. The supposed Black Phantom Prince. Then the man came closer and grabbed Nero by the arm and looked into his eyes and asked "Do you wish for the power to escape here and protect those you care about?". Nero replied that he did and then had numerous images flash through his mind, and obtained the power of kings, geass.
Soon after, the five of the soldiers stormed into the house, as Nero ran through the back door and the mysterious man seemed to die. Nero turned around at the door, firing two shots, killing one of the five soldiers and then dleaned against the wall to take cover. One of the men came running after him, and this is when Nero grabbed him and took him hostage, erasing all of the man's memories in the process. He moved back into the building slowly, and then when the other three men reacted, he shot them down easily, in the second they hesitated about harming their comrade. He then took pity on the hostage and killed him.
As the remaining 5 soldiers hunted about the village for Nero, he had ran away. He had run towards a Britannian patrol group he knew would be passing nearby, and then contacted them via a phone telling the headquarters and Septimus where he was and explained the situation. He was taken back to headquarters and debriefed, after Septimus promised to talk to him more about this after the invasion was over. That day would never come, as in the following weeks after Nero had been taken back to the Britannian Homeland, Septimus died in battle.
Nero was deployed across many areas as a general to supress rebels after he had recovered from the injuries he had recieved in France, and recently he was transferred to Area 11, along with his knight. He was made Governor General. He also enrolled in Ashford Academy for the sake he never had a proper school experience, and he feels his knight still needs to attend anyway so he may as well too. This obviously leads to him dumping a lot of his work onto his aides.
