SYSTEM:
- New Power Supply: The Matsukaze comes equipped with an experimental new Yggdrasil drive called a "Kokoro Simulator). This drive allows for sakuradite energy to be recycled and pulsed throughout the frame, which reduces the energy consumption rate.
- Fiery Demonheart system: A japanese moderation of the Blaze Luminous. The shields that are emitted fully encompass the knightmare frame's hands and feet, making those two areas all but impenetrable. The shields also allow the knightmare frame to engage in hand-to-hand combat without damaging the arms and legs. In addition, the hips area of the Matsukaze has been installed with a rotational ball, allowing kicks and overall leg movement to be faster.

-"Doukin Kenjuu": The handgun mounted on the Matsukaze's left arm is a custom compact version of the VARIS rifle. Unlike the VARIS, the Doukin Kenjuu (translated means magnificent golden pistol) fires more rapid smaller particle "bullets" at two times faster a rate than the VARIS rifle.
-"Zatoichi": A Maser Vibro Sword that is held in a sheath on Matsukaze's back.
